As we went out to meet my father-in-law and sister-in-law for dinner we turned the corner and were amazed by a sight we rarely see.
All conversation in the car stopped. That alone is a huge moment with two chatty boys.
The sky was filled with balloons. Normally at a car lot they have a couple and they boys get excited, but this one had a ton of them.
Since the sun was setting it was difficult to see the string attached to the balloons and they seemed to be floating in mid air. I quickly pulled my cell phone out and snapped a quick picture while we waited for the light to change.
While it is not one of my finest moments in photography, it does capture the wonder and amazement we witnessed. It is also about all I can do since my arm still cannot hold a camera well due to my sledding injury.
I did attend an event earlier this week and managed to take only a few pictures with my camera but it definitely hurt my arm in the process. I did not tell my physical therapist that one. After all, he is the one who was upset I used scissors.
Whether from my camera gear or my cell phone camera,
join me on my journey through the 52 week project.
